Photo/s of the day. Aquarium of Western Australia - part two.

It is a Saturday morning,
I think we're watching TV and not doing very much.
Yesterday we stumbled onto a 'Wellness Expo' at Hillarys.
People were promising to get people quitting smoking in 60 minutes.
With kinesiology.
I call bullshit. (Not that I have a problem with kinesiology; just with bullshit)

More jellyfish.

Leafy Seadragons.

We were told that the octopus was being 'unusual active,' I was happy with this bit of synchronicity, since an octopus will be in my latest Wandsuna illustration. So I took a lot of pictures.

A very bad shot of about five seahorses.

Stonefish.

Glen and Putu being noodles outside.

Scorpionfish

Wow. How do you get such clear shots? I've never been able to do that with shooting into aquariums - they make me dizzy. Lol.

The jellyfish are awesome. =D

I agree about the lack of light being a problem. And, I have to say that I am amazed at how steady your hands.

I particularly like the leafy sea dragons and the rays out of these. And the scorpionfish. (Always, they're another fish I'm fond of through having worked with them a bit. Provided you're careful with them they actually show personality and can be "worked" in the aquarium so you can clean etc. around them and not worry about being nailed with the spines.)

These are all great pictures but the jellyfish are especially glorious. It's like, can these even be real? They're incredible.

Yay for more sharing of aquarium shots! I can imagine the fun you'll have drawing the octopus!

I really enjoyed your photos! particularly of the octopus; every time I head to an aquarium they're unsually INactive. I find aquariums quite soothing (as long as there aren't groups of screaming schoolchildren around...).

That last one of the octopus (closely followed by 'photo of the day' moon jellies post) is probably my facourite. :)
