It's insanity. I've been watching Premier Bligh's statements about it, and it's just crazy. :/ They are as well prepared as they can be, but... it's still a Cat 5 cyclone. :(

I've fired up the BOM's radar image to watch now. You can just see the edge of the storm spiraling in on the Cairns one.
