[PotD] Day after day after day.

One thing the photo of the day project has sort of established,
is that we get sunsets like this all the fucking time in Summer.
And that the only thing unusual,
or strange about this,
is how many people don't go outside and marvel that this is right in their back gardens
on a more regular basis.

Sunset from the back garden.

This is a fall-streak of rain that was evaporating before it hit the ground. The rain was picking up the sun's rays, and so lit up in these delightful lines of fairyfloss pink.

When we lived in a house thwt faced west, slightly raised from the otherwise of the street, and there was park across from us, we would stop and look at the sunsets most days. Nowadays, the back garden is to the west, the ground rises behind us, and there is a road reserve beyond the back fence that contains tall trees. We don't pay nearly as much attention to the sunsets. But I agree with you - we should.
