All the scale detailing will go in during colouring. Well, all the rest of the scale detailing. The little circles in the tail just about gave me a coronary.

So. many. CIRCLES. This ink job is stunning and so detailed! And by the very nature of this little creature, I just KNOW the colours are going to blow my mind! :D
"All the scale detailing will go in during colouring." I read that part and thought "but it looks like there's already a lot of scale detailing. Huh?" only to read this right after it: "Well, all the rest of the scale detailing." My response was then something similar to =O "wow O.O".
Gosh, my hand would scream in agony and my tendons in my right wrist would break (tendonosis in both wrists) if I tried to do something like that (or any of your highly detailed pen/ink work) ;D. Probably one reason why I don't do a lot of small detail work in my pieces, unless I can digitally do it by greatly zooming in. Your detail work is always so amazing, even though it comes with some physical and mental drawbacks.
Oh this is marvelous! The scales (all those little scales!), the way the spirals flow over the leaves, even the hatching on the greenery behind. It doesn't need colouring so far as I'm concerned. ;D (I'm certain it will be equally mind-blowing coloured, if not more so.)
