This is so money! I love how the rainbow-y thing is like a fron from a tree (fron is the right word...right?). Very cool!

^_^

Oooh chicken! So adorable! Absolutely...

How long til you get down to the end of the list? Or do you want separate payments?

*huge hugs*

Your birds are always full of win! The detail on this is so amazing that I feel like I could use this to identify the bird if I ever saw it.

Shiny :)

He is adorable. We have little tiny sparrow-like birds over here that hang around in the city, I wonder if they are these or maybe closely related...?

I am totally enraptured by your artwork. I showed this to my s/o, and he agrees that if we ever again have disposable income, it will be winging your way to adopt any pieces that haven't found homes yet. Such incredibly beautiful, moving work.
xoxoxo

Dear Gods woman, how much art can you do in a day? XD I'm amazed by the number of pictures that you've posted in the last twenty four hours, lol - did you do em all today?

I really love this one too, all the tones and hues blend great together.

You mentioned using blue browns in the other post; that's not something I've ever considered...blue browns or well, anything other than brown browns. O.o Can you recommend any books or resources on color and tone and such I can go and peruse?

I don't know any books on this kind of stuff I'm afraid. All my stuff with colour is self-taught. I did have some exposure when I used to work as a librarian in an architecture firm, and I studied a lot of the colours used in interior design; but you can do that with any book on interior design, or magazine. :)

And yeah, I did all the colouring today. I didn't do all the inking though, that was done on um... Wednesday.

Does it taste like cinnamon?

Ah, ooh!

Honeychile, I loooove this!

It looks like you did it in watercolors & I don't know if you intended it, or not, since it is an Asian bird, but it looks like an Asian silkscreen painting. Kind of like this one, from the Song dynasty (http://handemb.com/en/iframe/images/big10.jpg)
