I wanted to say egg too, but it doesn't seem round enough, and slightly transparent just on the surface.

It is the top of the rice pudding that I baked. It has a layer of custard develop, and the specks are nutmeg and cinnamon and vanilla bean. :D

SO PRETTY! I was going to guess creme brulee, but it wasn't dark enough. :D
