I had to look it up. I thought rook just meant a group of crows. I was unaware that they were their own bird. *is embarassed* Love the warm sunset colors.
This is so beautiful! I love how these pictures have evolved over the course of your doing them. I absolutely love the way you've coloured Rook itself. It's also great to see that even though you haven't been arting as much lately, the work you turn out is still top notch.
Ooooo. That sings. The combination of "rook" and "as totem" is awesome, too. I always found rook to be a very powerful bird on its own, but seen in the concept as a totem it actually seems moreso. Interesting that you represent it with warm colours, too. I always seemed such a cold creature to me. Liking the arting :-)
