[Art] Gemsbok, Tallaganda Velvet Worm, Rock Hyrax

This year I'm 'filling the gaps' - animals I've written meanings of, but don't have art for, or animals I've done A4 works for, but not 'as totems' of (which is actually a lot of Australian totems, lol).

The first list includes some I've been wanting to get to for over a decade, especially the velvet worm! Also velvet worms are super intricate and complex and basically will take you much longer to draw than you realised even though they are just a fucking velvet worm (they are cuties though. Voracious, carnivorous cuties with socially complex lives).

These still need to be coloured, and all will be available for sale.

I love the shading on the Rock Hyrax. (They are fantastic creatures -- have you seen them in the flesh? Bluff, social, and their feet are the most remarkable reminder that they are in fact closely related to elephants. The Gemsbok afflicts me -- I've spent too much on various things lately and can not afford to splurge, but oh I am tempted... (I have an affinity for Oryx generally.)
