[Photos] Eagle's Heritage III

So I got to visit this place twice in 2017,
which was awesome.
It's always interesting how the same places,
can yield different photos each time.

Anyway here are some raptors, which are gr9.

Powerful Owl

Tawny Frogmouth

Eyebrows on fleek

Grey Goshawk (white variation, NOT an albino - making it the only entirely white raptor in the world - to not have albinism lol).

Do dee doo

White-bellied sea eagle.

Random caterpillar on the path.

Barn owl.

I am spoiled for white raptors here because of course we have Snowy Owls in abundance (at the right time of year), and the occasional Gyrfalcon, and yet your goshawk is so very striking! Seemingly more gracile than the Northern Goshawk, too, though that might be an illusion based on individual variation.

I'm most struck by your Barn Owl photos though. I have an enduring fondness for them, and find their mottled colouration particularly striking.

They are relatively easy going and pleasant natured for owls. Not as curious and outgoing as Barn Owls, but quieter than many other species.
