You don't absolutely need the collapsible crate, they're just handy, particularly later when she's feeling mobile but shouldn't jump around because the injury is still healing. You could also try your local Freecycle (http://groups.freecycle.org/freecycleperth/description) or even ask the rescue you adopted her from to lend you one, as you wouldn't need it for longer than a month or so.

Do you mean you can't get money from Paypal before Monday? That's not very functional on their part -- or is it the bank being conservative? I know that they're certainly inconsistent here.
