Links! I just helped run a workshop on this very topic. Except it was from a different cultural viewpoint with different wording. I call 'em links, not vilka, but it's basically the same thing.

So neat. :D Links are one of my favorite topics, and something I feel strongly about/love working with. Hearing about it from a different cultural standpoint is awesome.
