It was the standard eldar futhark with the northumbrian if you paid extra (which I could not afford). I was just not quite sure which rune it was and didn't want to wind up looking a fool. The person I was taught by has known runes all his life claiming a pretty dam certifiable linage, not to boast or anything. I on the other hand are really raw when it comes to runes, and not using them lately hasn't helped much.

Eig (Eihwaz) has also always had a fair amount of power and of course being associated with death and life and the underworlds and so on its always been a fairly potent rune as well. However its potency is more focused and more in control of itself compared to Ken to me. Its not a docile rune by any means, but it is one that makes you think more about how death or life can come about from death. Also it come across as being the inevitability of death, you know its coming, you know its just around the conner, if you can only control it, maybe you can stop it. but soon the hunger, famine, disease or the blade will get you.

Yeah maybe its the naive side of Thurs coming thru in me? :p
