[Art] Sketches.

I've been doing a 'sketch a day' thing (which is more like 'an idle sketch when I feel like it') but mostly just to stop myself from getting too rusty. Most of them are pretty naff, which is why I'm putting the one I actually like above the cut, lol.

All done in graphite over pastels on cartridge paper, because I wanted to use a medium that wouldn't let me erase my lines as I went, forcing me to find other ways to compensate for mistakes.

I tried to take less than 10 minutes for all of them.

Given how quickly these were done they all turned out beautifully. My favourite is also the first of course, but you should not malign your wallaby. S/he isn't crappy, only a little stiff. ;D

Less than ten minutes for each of these?! Holy cats. I am impressed. Love, love, love the sighthound in particular. :)

The sighthound is very lovely, but I also like the conostylis! Possibly because I thought it was a creature with two very strange eyes, at first. ☆_☆ :D

Oh these are lovely! I adore the colours. :> They are very different from a lot of your other work, and both are excellent, especially given how quickly they were drawn! Very nice.
