The only thing that makes Cottesloe a 'tourist beach' is the grass leading down to the sand, and the big-ass building, and the fact that several politicians have lived in Cottesloe. But you can go to *any* stretch of beach for about 5000 kilometres on the Perth coastline and you will get beaches with pearly white, powdery sand.
