My glossy girl is next,
along with some dual Moet/Maybe shots,
since they decided to be extremely cute together.
I think this is the first time I've taken more photos of Moet than Maybe for a while, but my camera goes wherever it feels like.


Watching the world with eyes that go an uncanny colour in direct sunlight.

Thoroughly chuffed with these photos,
mostly because they captured a really sweet and lovely moment between all of us this morning, and Moet was in an extremely charming and gently playful mood.
So for once,
the majority of photos are of Moet! :)

Someone wanted to come snuggle on my lap,
Moet isn't a major lap snuggler,
but every now and then he gets tired of simply sitting next to me
and he balls up in my lap instead,
usually while I'm trying to work.
I took advantage of that today.

I have decided to get back into proper Photos of the Day in the new year. I sort of lost my way a bit, because Instagram is so easy, but I like getting out the camera and actually taking 'proper' amateur photos. So I've started doing that again. I stopped because I also started feeling like my life was really boring and... uninteresting. That's been something I've struggled with all year. But I've decided that even if I spent every day inside, it is possible to find something that at the very least - I like or find interesting - once a day... so that's what I'm going to do. Or try to do.
My favourite subjects are of course my cats. Lol.

have also been enjoying Elementary a great deal,
and I'm going to call it,
some elements are much stronger than BBC's Sherlock,
though they are very different shows.

It got down to 1.2C this morning,
which is, er, very, very cold by Perth standards.
The cats were happy to oblige keeping me warm on my bed,
so I opened up the windows
to give them some winter sun.

A few times a year, we let the cats outside for some supervised playtime.
Which means Glen and I stay outside the entire time they're outside.
I usually toddle on out with my camera,
and then photos ensue.
So, anyway, we let the cats out yesterday!

Generally, if I go to a corner of the house and call their names,
they'll come running and then pose.
Seriously.
Their relationship with the camera is pretty intense,
actually...
