I'm watching Angel at the moment.
Is there anything in the world stupider than
that episode where Angel is making all the stupid baby voices
at his baby?
There's so much of season 3 that I loved, and so much that I loathed.
And it's all coasting into that hideous Jasmine season.
Which is pretty much just the prolonged metaphorical rape-of-Cordelia-followed-by-death,
and a 'great' way of a show to destroy pretty much their strongest female character.
GAH.

Sketches make everything better.

Oh man, they really put a lot of the female characters through hell on Angel. They obliterated Fred, too. D:

Ya know, for a show (and its spin-off) based on the idea of "what if the blonde victem in the horror movies kicked ass instead? the ratio of male-to-female deaths among the protagonists is waaaaay unbalanced.

Female protagonist deaths: Cordelia, Fred, Tara, Joyce, Anya, Jenny Calendar

Male protagonist deaths: Doyle, Westley (at the very end)

Not sure if it really means anything. All of Firefly's major deaths were male (still hurtin' mightily for Wash).
