Today they blocked off some of our house to get some big trucks down there for the purposes of moving a pre-manufactured house section onto a pre-existing house. They were kind enough to give us a flyer about it letting us know that it was happening. And we were like bzuh? They're whatting a what?
Actually, theoretically, it is, due to a few reasons: exceptionally low pollution in comparison to most other western countries (or maybe even all other western countries) keeps pollution particles that cause haze and discolouration to a minimum. The flattest continent on the planet gives a greater illusion of 'large' skies, which contributes to the overall effect. And for a while, something to do with the hole in the ozone layer as well; which used to sit over Perth.
Hee :) This reminds me of a tv show I watched. It was an episode of "Grand Designs" from the UK, where these people had their entire house manufactured in Germany like lego. :) They built the whole thing in 7 days! Imagine if you were the neighbour and you went away for week.... LOLs! :)
